A heated argument Wednesday took place between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Chaudhry Fawad Hussain and journalists outside the Supreme Court building in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The tiff was triggered by Fawad’s snubbing a question put to another PTI leader, Asad Umar, by senior journalist Matiullah Jan and calling him ‘hired people’.
Matiullah Jan asked Asad Umar to informed them about “Where Farah (Gujjar) has gone?”
Fawad intervened, preventing Asad Umar from answering the question while uttering the term ‘hired people’ for Matiullah Jan which infuriated the journalist who challenged Fawad.
The spat also enraged the fellow journalists that were there to cover the media talk of the PTI leaders. They shouted slogans against Fawad Chaudhry and called him ‘lota, lota’.
The journalists also boycotted the media talk by the PTI leaders until an apology from Chaudhry Fawad.
It is to be noted here that former minister for planning and development Asad Umar was talking to media when Matiullah Jan asked from him, “Where has Farah gone?”
