Funeral prayers of Sepoy Hamid Rasool who embraced martyrdom during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Shin Warsak, South Waziristan District, were offered at Frontier Corps (FC) Headquarters Wana initially and subsequently in his hometown Jaswal, district Rawalpindi with full military honours.
Senior serving & retired Officers/ Soldiers including the injured comrades of the same operation, relatives and a large number of people from civil society attended the funeral prayers.
The young captain who was injured in the operation in Shin Warsak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, also attended the funeral prayers of his martyred soldier in wounded condition to prove that the Pakistan Army does not forget its martyrs even after martyrdom.
The SSG officer, who killed eight dangerous terrorists in yesterday's intelligence-based operation, attended the funeral of his martyred fellow soldier Hamid Rasool despite being injured.
