Interior Minister attends International Expo in Istanbul, meets Chief of Turkish General Staff

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi attends inaugural ceremony of International Expo 2024 in Istanbul which was attended by envoys of several other countries, reported 24newsHD TV channel.
On the occasion Interior Minister also met with Chief of the Turkish General Staff, General Metin Gurak and congratulated him for organizing the International Expo. General Metin Gurak thanked Government of Pakistan for becoming part of international expo.
After the inauguration, Moshin Naqvi also visited the pavilion of Pakistan Ordinance Factories. Interior Minister is in Türkiye on the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Mohsin Naqvi also met the organizers of the Pakistani stall and appreciated the Pakistani equipment displayed in the expo. Interior Minister expressed interest in the modern equipment displayed in the expo. ON the occasion, he said it was a pleasure to see modern machinery and equipment at the Istanbul International Expo. Naqvi said International Expo 2024 will help to increase mutual cooperation among friendly countries.
Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkey Dr. Yusuf Jaind and senior officials were also present on the occasion. On his arrival, Mohsin Naqvi was received by Pakistan’s envoy in Turkey and Director-General of Turkiye Foreign Office. On this occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan and Turkiye enjoying very close, cordial and brotherly ties. Turkiye is a time-tested friend of Pakistan, he added. He further said that his visit will pave way to take measures to strengthen friendly ties between the two countries. During his stay in Turkiye, Mohsin Naqvi will hold discussions with cabinet ministers and President Erdogan. Mohsin Naqvi will also represent Pakistan in international conference. During his meetings with high-officials of Turkiye he will discuss to curb human trafficking and improve border management and security between Pakistan and Turkiye. Interior Minister and Turkiye ministers also discussed on ways to make their relations more strengthen.
