Another consignment 30,700 tonnes of imported sugar arrives 

Commodity price to go up in Pakistan

Another consignment 30,700 tonnes of imported sugar landed in the homeland, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.

According to sources, the consumers will pay Rs4.76 more than the government rates.

The TCP paid Rs89.26 per kg for the imported sugar and the commodity will cost Rs103 per kg to the Utility Stores, thus it will be available at Rs116.50 per at these stores.

The third consignment of imported sugar, 33000 tonnes, is due to be landed in the homeland on August 14, the TCP sources said.

The first consignment of 33,000 tones of imported sugar reached here last week. The trading corporation opened 100,000-tonne sugar import tender
