14th aid consignment for victims of Gaza and Lebanon departs from Karachi

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) dispatched a 14-hour aid consignment for affected people in Lebanon and Gaza departed from Jinnah International Airport (JIAP), Karachi, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.


 A spokesman of the National Disaster Management Authority said that around 17 tonnes of aid goods were dispatched through the 14th consignment.


The spokesman further revealed that PDMA already sent 1,398 tonnes of aid goods for war victims in Gaza and Lebanon.


He said that 11 consignments departed for Gaza and 3 aid consignments were sent for Lebanon.


The third aid consignment left for Lebanon carrying medicines, cooked meals, tents, winter clothes, and dry milk.


The Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs and representatives from the NDMA and Al-Khidmat Foundation were also present on the occasion.


Interested citizens can deposit aid in the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for Gaza and Palestinian war victims.
