Reacting to the arrest of PTI chief Imran Khan in a Tosha Khana case, Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Central Secretary Information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said no man is above the law, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking to the media on Saturday, Firdous rebuked the PTI chief, saying, "The PTI chief used to tell me that there was no sacred cow in the country. I want to tell the PTI chief that no one is above the law in the country."
"The bad consultations have destroyed the PTI's politics. Former Punjab chief minister Usman Buzdar should also be behind bars," she added.
She said that not a single PTI worker went to Zaman Park to protest against the arrest of the PTI chief. “Today, the idol of pride has been broken as corruption has been proven in the Toshakhana case," added Firdous.
Earlier, she said that the Pakistani nation stands with the Kashmiris people. Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan and all political parties should raise their voice for the liberation of Kashmiri people, she remarked.
She said that August 5 is a dark day for Kashmiris when Indian PM Narendra Modi confiscated special status from Kashmiris.
Youths were made blind with pilot guns and women were raped, but all international organizations are silent on the atrocities of Indian forces.
She urged the new generation to expose the true face of India to the world through using social media.
Firdous Ashiq said that her party will bring stability to the country.
