The Attorney General of Pakistan has presented his letter written to former chief judge of Gilgit-Baltistan Appellate Court Rana Shamim in the Islamabad High Court on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Reportedly, AGP Khalid Jawed Khan last week wrote a letter to former GB top judge Rana Shamim asking him to dispatch his sealed original affidavit to the Pakistan High Commission in London and from where the letter could be sent by the foreign affairs ministry to the registrar of the Islamabad High Court.

The AGP presented his letter in the court and submitted a miscellaneous petition pleading to make the epistle part of the IHC’s record.

The IHC in its last hearing ordered Mr Shamim to submit his original affidavit in which he accused ex-chief justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar of colluding with other court officials to deny bails to PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz.
