Baby snatcher caught, two-year-old girl handed over to mother

The Masti Gate police arrested a man accused of snatching a two-year-old girl from her mother, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

Accused Tanveer snatched Anusha from her mother in the morning and fled, police said.

They added that a patrol got know about the incident as the woman cried for help. The cops captured the suspect and put him behind bar.

The police handed the girl to her mother after completing legal formalities

A case has been registered and the investigation is on. The locals and police high-ups heaped praise on the cops for prompt action.
