The National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) has warned about the possibility of an attack on an important government office in Karachi.
The authority said the Indian intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), might use Afghans for the nefarious purpose. Rangers and other lawmen have been put on high alert following the NACTA warning.
Last year, the lawmen repulsed a terror strikes on the Pakistan Stock Exchange in Karachi when four gunmen stormed the exchange office in June. Prime Minister Imran Khan said India backed the terror strike.
