Nearly five million additional doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines reached Islamabad through the COVAX facility, bringing the total number of doses delivered by the United States to Pakistan to 42 million, reported 24NewsHD TV on Thursday.
The US State Department announced through a tweet, “With this week’s shipment of nearly 5 million additional doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, the United States has now donated over 42 million doses to Pakistan through #COVAX.
“We are proud to partner with the people of Pakistan to help end the COVID-19 pandemic.”
