A sanitary worker lost his life due to wrong injection that was allegedly administered to him by a hospital sweeper in Nowshera Virkan, reported 24NewSH DTV channel on Friday. 

Siddique Masih, the sanitary worker, used to work as a driver in Municipal Committee and he suffered a heart attack while being on duty. 

He was brought to the Tehsil Headquarter (THQ) Hospital Nowshera Virkan where, instead of doctors, one of the sweepers of the hospital administered him an injection that triggered reaction and resulted in his death. 

Following their colleague’s death, the sanitary workers staged protest demonstration outside the THQ hospital against the negligence shown by the doctors. 

Seeking justice, they demanded a strict action from the higher authorities. 

They also threatened to continue their protest until the Assistant Commissioner and District Commissioner do not take action against the doctors.
