Different sections of the motorway have been closed due to dense fog in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Upper Sindh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The motorway sections which have been closed include M 11 from Lahore to Sialkot, M 2 from Lahore to Sheikhupura, M 3 from Faizabad to Dur Khana, M 4 from Multan to Pindi Bhattian, M 5, M 14, M 1 from Peshawar to Islamabad, Swat Expressway from Colonel Sher Khan to Chakdara and Hazara Expressway from Burhan to Shah Maqsood.

According to the motorway spokesperson, the duration of fog has been increased owing to a sharp drop in temperature.

He advised the road users to avoid unnecessary travel and try to commute between 10 am and 6 pm.
