By sacrificing their lives, three Pak army men averted a big disaster for security forces from a suicide bomber on Wednesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel's report, a vehicle-borne suicide bomber intended to target a sensitive post of the security forces in North Waziristan.
However, the timely interception of the suicide bomber on suspicion by on-duty soldiers prevented a major catastrophe.
The vehicle-borne suicide bomber exploded himself when intercepted by the army men in the general area of Miran Shah, North Waziristan District.
Resultantly, Naib Subedar Sahib Khan (age 41 years, resident of Mianwali), Naik Muhammad Ibrahim (age 40 years, resident of Dera Ismail Khan) and Sepoy Jehangir Khan (age 24 years, resident of Mardan) embraced Shahadat while three innocent civilians got critical injuries.
The security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
