Eight people including three women and two minors died after a passenger van plunged into a river at Lassa Nawab Road located at Gojra Bridge in Mansehra on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The horrific incident also injured five people including Amjad, Sarfraz and three children. 

The dead included driver Wazir Muhammad, Aizar, Perveeen, Farida bibi, Nageena Bibi. 

The injured persons were shifted to Phulera Hospital for medical treatment while the dead bodies of the passengers were shifted to King Abdullah Hospital.
