Pakistani-American singer Ali Sethi took to his Instagram handle and shared a humorous story that quickly went viral sparking a wave of hilarious reactions on social media.

Following the elections in India, Sethi posted a screenshot highlighting an Indian politician having a striking resemblance to him, who lost votes by a significant margin in the election against Modi.

The screenshot noted that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi defeated Sethi's look-alike by an overwhelming number of votes in his constituency.

Adding a touch of humor, Ali Sethi commented, "Apparently, I have lost some votes in India."
