PIA special flights take off for London, Manchester

A Pakistan International Airline (PIA) special flight Boeing 777 PK785 carrying around 300 passengers was departed from Islamabad to London on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Another PIA special flight PK789 departed from Islamabad to Manchester carrying 406 passengers.

In another special flight of a foreign airline, 289 passengers were carried to Manchester from Islamabad International Airport.

PIA has already announced four special international flights from May 6 to May 14 for the UK.

These special flights have been arranged on the request of British Embassy in Pakistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It is pertinent to mention that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also been arranging flights for the safe return of Pakistanis stuck abroad.
