400kg of dead meat was seized Friday by Lahore police, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Mujahid Squad also arrested two suspects involved in supplying dead meat to marriage halls.

“280kg of beef and 120kg of mutton were seized from the accused,” the police spokesman said.

“The accused were transporting dead meat from Farooqabad to Lahore in a vehicle,” he added.
