Former PTV director MZ Soahil passes away

Former Pakistan Television (PTV) director Muhammad Zaman Sohail has passed away, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

He joined PTV News in the 1970s. He was among the founding members of PTV News.

He remained associated with PTV for nearly four decades. He was the father of PTV News reporter Nimra Sohail.

He also remained Senior News Editor of the PTV news bulletin and Controller of PTV News.

He also served as a PTV News reporter with prime ministers and heads of state.

He retired as Director of the PTV International Relations Division.

The PTV family and employees of the News and Current Affairs Department have expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of Muhammad Zahid Sohail.
