A motorcycle-car crash claimed one life in the federal capital, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.

The capital city police stated that both the riders sustained critical injuries and one of them, identified as Zarar died in the PIMS hospital.

It was stated that the car registered under the number GAE-701 belonged to the National Horticulture Authority (NHA) and was driven by a woman identified as Nabeela Sami.

The accident occurred in the area of Multi Garden B-17.

The police has taken the driver into custody.
