A chartered plane left for Sri Lanka to bring Pakistani prisoners back home, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.


In this regard, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Federal Privatisation Minister Abdul Aleem Khan made efforts for the return of 56 Pakistanis imprisoned in Sri Lanka for many years.


On the instructions of Mohsin Naqvi, the Ministry of Interior contacted the Sri Lankan authorities for the return of the prisoners.


Federal Minister for Privatisation Abdul Aleem Khan will bear the expenses of repatriation of prisoners.


Mohsin Naqvi thanked Abdul Aleem Khan for bearing the expenses of returning the prisoners.
