Islamabad Police constable injured in clashes with PTI protestors dies

The police constable, who had been injured during clashes with the PTI protestors in Islamabad on Saturday, finally breathed his last at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The spokesman for the Islamabad Police said that Abdul Hameed, who belonged to Abbottabad and was employed at the Investigation Wing, had been shifted to the hospital from Chungi No 26.
He informed that Abdul Hameed, who had been recruited by the capital police in 1988, was due to retire from service after three months.
Later funeral prayers for the deceased were offered which were attended among others by Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi, KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and Inspector General of Police (IGP), Islamabad Ali Nasir Rizvi.
