In an act of gruesome murder, three members of a family including a girl were mercilessly put to death by some unknown people in Qaim Colony near Mianwali Chashma, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to initial investigation by police, the deceased identified as Manzoor Masih, Sadiq Masih and his daughter Aneeqa Sadiq were murdered in cold blood. The unknown killers slit open their throats and after murdering them, they locked the bodies in their house and left.

When a putrid smell started coming from the house, the neighbours got suspicious and informed the police.

Police entered the house after breaking open the locks of a servant quarter where they found three dead bodies.

The police also found that the air-cooler was still on over the bodies.

More police teams also reached the crime scene to investigate the murders.
