Defence Day: Messages of martyrs’ families

History is a witness that whenever the motherland called, the sons of the soil responded without caring for their lives.

Captain Kashan, Havaldar Shehbaz, Sepoy Ghulam Mohiuddin and Major Ali Salman were brave, fearless and determined to die for the motherland.

The father of Captain Kashan Shaheed said: "During the cross-shelling with India, Kashan did not cease to fight until the enemy's guns were silenced, and in the process achieved martyrdom."

The mother of Captain Kashan Ali Naveed Shaheed says: “Allah gave him such a great death without asking, so we should be grateful for that."

The widow of Havaldar Shahbaz Shaheed says: "Havaldar Sahib was a very good human being, he cannot be praised as much as he is. When he was martyred, it seemed as if the mountains had fallen from the sky. He gave his life for the country and nation and we are very proud of his martyrdom."

The daughter of Havaldar Shahbaz Shaheed recalls: "He used to talk to me first whenever he called, I miss him a lot."

The second daughter of Havaldar Shahbaz Shaheed adds: "When someone calls us the daughter of a martyr, I am very proud that Baba is gone but his name is still alive."

The widow of Sepoy Ghulam Mohiuddin Shaheed says: "We are very proud of his martyrdom. Thanks to Allah the Army cooperated with us a lot. Children miss their father's love very much."

The mother of Major Ali Salman Nasir Shaheed says:  "I was an ordinary mother, Ali made me the mother of a martyr. I am very proud and I also pray to Allah Ta'ala to accept his martyrdom at the highest level."

The father of Major Ali Salman Nasir Shaheed says: "Allah Ta'ala has given my son such a great rank that no matter how proud he is, it is less.

The father of Captain Salman Sarwar Shaheed stresses: "Life must be sacrificed to gain freedom and to maintain it, and it must be sacrificed."

The mother of Captain Salman Sarwar Shaheed says: "The pride was that Salman's life was very valuable for this country. This country is made of many sacrifices, so many martyrdoms are happening every day and that is why we are sleeping peacefully in our homes."

The widow of Havaldar Muhammad Aslam Shaheed says: "I am very proud that I am the widow of a martyr and living life with my head up. He is greatly missed in life, but his memory is with us and will always be."
