Govt and Opp make major breakthrough in talks; discuss APC and Balochistan situation

In a significant development, government and opposition members met in the Speaker's chamber to discuss key national issues, including the possibility of convening an All Parties Conference (APC).
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the discussions also focused on creating consensus on the situation in Balochistan and reviewing proposals to address the region’s challenges.
The meeting saw the participation of the opposition delegation, including Barrister Gohar, Asad Qaiser, and Amir Dogar. The government was represented by Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, Rana Sanaullah, and Khalid Magsi.
Sources indicate that there was a detailed consultation on the resignation of Sardar Akhtar Mengal, as both sides explored options for a unified response.
The breakthrough in talks is seen as a positive step towards bridging the gap between the government and opposition, with ongoing dialogue aimed at resolving pressing national issues.
