Judge Ali Raza heard the case while Advocate Syed Abdul Rehman Hashmi appeared on behalf of the accused.

He argued that the case was filed due to political vendetta and is based on fabricated allegations.

The investigating officer submitted the investigation report and declared the accused innocent. He said that anti-corruption department does not require the arrest of the accused.

The accused withdrew their applications for interim bail from the court which disposed of the interim bail applications on withdrawal basis.

It merits here to mention that the co-accused Moazzam Masood Mazari, Azizullah, Pir Bakhsh, Kashif Ali Khan Mazari and Fahad Razzaq Mazari had filed an application for interim bail.

They were charged with possessing government records and embezzling government land.
