Anti-Corruption Deptt books CEO, DDO Health Gujranwala over fake degrees

Punjab Anti-Corruption Department Saturday registered a case against the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Health Gujranwala district and the Deputy District Officer (DDO) Health Wazirabad terming their degrees suspicious.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the anti-corruption department registered the case of fraud and manipulation of papers against both higher authorities of the health department in Gujranwala and Wazirabad districts.
The anti-corruption department in the FIR said both CEO Health Gujranwala Dr Farjad and DDO Health Wazirabad Dr Muhammad Asghar showed completion of their studies from Russia but as per record, the degrees were doubtful.
The anti-corruption department also suggested the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to investigate the fake degree case of both officers. The department also suggested the FIA to check how long both the doctors stayed in Russia and in which university they studied.
