Rain, windstorm likely in most parts of the country during next 24 hours

The Met office has predicted rain and windstorm during the next 24 hours in most parts of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

During next 24 hours, rain with thunderstorm is likely in Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan.

Strong wind and rain is expected in Murree, Guliyat, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujarat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okara, Kasur, Khushab, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Bhakkar and Dera Ghazi.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the chances of rain and wind is expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Bitgram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Buner, Swabi, Nowshera, Mardan, Malakand, Mohmand, Khyber, Bajaur, Charsadda, Peshawar, Kohat, Hangu, Karam, Orakzai, Waziristan and Bannu.

Moreover, heavy rain is also expected at a few places in Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Buner, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Swabi, Nowshera, Mardan, Peshawar and Bajaur.

In Balochistan partly cloudy and hazy weather is expected in Khuzdar, Lasbela, Awaran, Musa Khel, Zhob, Qala Saifullah, Lora Lai, Kalat and Barkhan. In Sindh partly cloudy weather is likely and cloudy. However, there may be light rain in the coastal areas.
