Akhtar Lawa, a resident of Lahore, has become an internet sensation.

Akhtar gained fame through his slogan Akhtar Lawa Lahore Da pawa – translates: (Pillar of Lahore, Akhtar Lawa) – and his reaction to a lion’s moves towards him.

He comes to the spotlight at a time when the netizens are under the spell of 'Mera Dil Ye Pukary Aaja' dance moves by Pakistani Tiktoker Ayesha.

A clip shows Akhtar Lawa harping on ‘Akhtar Lawa Lahore Da Pawa’ and a lion attacks him.
