PM sets up relief fund for Turkey quake victims

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced establishing a relief fund to help the victims of the deadly earthquake in Turkey that has claimed thousands of lives and destroyed nearly 6,000 buildings, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a tweet uploaded on Tuesday, Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said “To help the victims of the earthquake in Turkey at this difficult hour, PM Shehbaz Sharif has decided to establish PM Relief Fund.”
The minister said that the federal cabinet has announced to contribute one month's salary while the prime minister has appealed to the philanthropists to extend help.
