Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday predicted that February 9th will bring a message of prosperity for Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


Addressing a rally at Kasur, he pledged that if the PML-N was voted into power, development projects would be initiated to foster growth and progress in the country.


He also articulated the party's commitment to steering Pakistan back on course, emphasizing a departure from what he labeled as the governance failures of previous administrations.


Sharif adamantly opposed the return of what he deemed as "fraudsters" to power, referring to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) tenure from mid-2018 to April 2022.


Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo criticizing the inability of past rulers to fulfill promises of housing and employment, Sharif highlighted the detrimental financial losses incurred during their tenures.


Nawaz expressed his vision for Pakistan to reclaim its status as an “Asian Tiger,” adding that the youth would help achieve this goal.


He reiterated that if his government had not been overthrown in 2017, all the citizens in the country would have been provided employment opportunities.


Nawaz Sharif heralded the dawn of February 9th as a symbol of prosperity for Pakistan.


He pledged that under the PML-N's leadership, ambitious development projects would be initiated, fostering economic growth and societal advancement.

Addressing the rally attendees, former premier and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif claimed that the majority of the country’s development projects were undertaken by party supremo Nawaz Sharif, showcasing his commitment to public service.


remarked that while Nawaz Sharif has been ousted from power three times, he has never called any army chief Mir Jafar or Mir Sadiq.


Shehbaz asserted that Nawaz Sharif is the one who has undertaken developmental projects across Pakistan, stating, "Nawaz Sharif, upon being elected as prime minister for the fourth time on February 8, will alleviate the people's difficulties."


He further remarked on the performance of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in Sindh, stating that despite their claims to transform Karachi into Lahore, they have failed to undertake developmental work in Karachi. He quipped, "Some promise to turn Karachi into Lahore, what else is left to say!"


In a significant gesture towards reconciliation, Maryam Nawaz, the senior vice president of the PML-N urged supporters of the PTI to bury the past and move past the politics of hate.


Speaking at the rally, Maryam emphasized the need to transcend past grievances, extending a hand of forgiveness and unity.


Expressing her readiness to forgive past injustices, she declared her intention to put an end to animosity once and for all.


She articulated a vision for Pakistan where governance prioritizes public service over vendettas.


Asserting the pivotal role of PML-N's leader Nawaz Sharif in Pakistani politics, Maryam Nawaz underscored that her party's identity is deeply intertwined with his leadership.


Reflecting on her own political journey, Maryam Nawaz lamented the challenges she faced, including personal attacks and character assassinations.


Maryam Nawaz asserted the PML-N's supremacy in recent surveys, indicating a favorable trajectory in the lead-up to the general elections.


Expressing gratitude to the people of Kasur for their unwavering support, she credited them for ensuring the PML-N's stronghold in the district.


She acknowledged that Nawaz Sharif's rally in Kasur marked a significant milestone, thanking the attendees for their steadfast loyalty and dedication to the party's cause.
