CM Gandapur conveyed offer of shifting Imran to Bani Gala: Aleema Khan

Jailed PTI founder’s sister Aleema Khan has said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur had conveyed the offer of shifting Imran Khan to Bani Gala House, adding that Imran Khan was of the view that government has to express its seriousness regarding talks then negotiations will move on, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Talking to media outsides Adiala Jail Rawalpindi on Tuesday, Aleema Khan said that government was not serious in holding talks with PTI as Imran Khan had presented only two terms in front of the government. She said PTI founder was living in jail for one and half year now it was not important to put him in house arrests. 

She said Imran Khan has been advised to remain silent. She said only family matters were discussed with Imran Khan on Tuesday. 

Aleema Khan said PTI was not against talks. She questioned why negotiation committee was not being allowed to meet Imran Khan. Imran Khan has to make final decision if committee will meet Imran Khan then talks will make progress. 

She also said that the government’s negotiation committee comprises the people who had stolen the mandate of PTI. 

Aleema said now a days every one claims to be the source of the establishment. She said now a day every one was talking about deal. Some say Imran Khan has been advised to remain silent for three years and some say others. But Imran Khan has always talked about rule of law. She said Islamabad High Court has ended all cases against PTI founder. 

Aleema Khan said PTI founder was demanding judicial commission under the chair of senior judge on May 9 incidents. She said in democratic government where rule of law is given preferences, judicial commission are formed to probe the incidents. Aleema said PTI has no option excepts to have faith on judiciary. She said PTI was repeatedly demanding judicial commission for the release of innocents PTI workers. 

She said Imran Khan was languishing in jail for the last one and half year if former PM wanted to have deal under backchannels he would have made it but Imran Khan will not made back channel deal. She said Imran Khan was getting back deal offers from the very first day but non one has directly contacted him. She said during meeting, Imran Khan remembered Air Commodore Sajjad Haider, PTI supporter who stood up in long queue to cast vote during general election.
