Ex-hockey players laud Mohsin Naqvi’s stance on ICC Champions Trophy

Former national hockey players Shehbaz Senior and Khawaja Junaid on Tuesday held a detailed meeting with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the meeting, both hockey players lauded the stance adopted by PCB Chairman for holding of ICC Champions Trophy matches.
They said that Mohsin Naqvi quickly streamline entire cricket structure in Pakistan, they suggested that these kind of reforms need of the hour for revival of national hockey in our country.
Al the participants discussed various measures to promote sports on solid grounds in the country.
Mohsin Naqvi assured them his complete cooperation for promotion of sports special hockey in the country.
He said that hockey is our national sports with a historical background.
He said all measures will be utilized for revival of national sports. Shahbaz Senior and Khawaja Juanid also apprised the PCB Chairman about their club tours in Germany and Netherlands.
They also discussed the upcoming tour of German national junior hockey team in March.
