Revised budgetary figures put country’s foreign loans at $28 billion

The government has increased the amount of foreign loans in the national budget by $12.80 billion, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to the documents, which 24News has managed to obtain, the foreign loans, which were estimated to be around $15. 40 billion on June 10, 2022, the day when the country’s budget was presented, now stand at around $28.20 billion since the Ministry of Finance has now added $3 billion borrowed in loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Saudi Arabia each besides $4 billion borrowed from China in loan to the original amount.
