Ms Marvel will represent Pakistanis positively, says Mehwish Hayat

Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat said that the representation of Pakistanis in the series 'Miss Marvel' will be positive.

Mehwish Hayat attended the promotional event for Pakistani filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Marvel Studios' series 'Ms. Marvel'.

Mehwish said, "This show is great and it is made at a time when we need to show different cultures on screen.

"Since Pakistanis have been portrayed in a very negative light in films for a long time, I think this show will portray our Pakistanis in a positive way," she added.

Mahesh Hayat said: "In this show we will be able to see how we live a normal life like the rest of the world."

Mehwish said, "We will see the story of this series and many similarities in our lives".

"I hope a lot of girls will be impressed by this show and this series will give them a message to believe in themselves and their dreams," Mehwish added.

Mehwish Hayat concluded: "We all have a superhero inside, we just need to accept that fact."
