PTI founder Imran Khan has said he seconds the statement of the Corps Commanders' Conference on the May 9 incident, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

“I fully support the declaration of the Corps Commanders' Conference. Culprits of the May 9 incident should be severely punished,” the former premier said while talking to the media in Adiala Jail.

He added: “The people involved in May 9 should be identified through CCTV footage. People were also caught on CCTV in the Capitol Hill attack.

"Why hasn't a judicial commission been formed yet on the May 9 tragedy? “No one is interested in an independent inquiry."

Describing the ECP's refusal to allot reserved seats, he said: “It is undemocratic. Not giving reserved seats to PTI is unconstitutional. On Sunday, a big rally against election manipulation will be held in Peshawar.

He added: “In East Pakistan too, people were deprived of the mandate due to which the country broke. This election has been the most rigged in the history of the country.

He continued: “A rigged election will damage the country's economy. "A country cannot run without political stability “Foreign investments never come in such a scenario."

Taking a swipe at the Sharif family, he said: “The biggest U-turn of the Sharif family is first respect the vote and now respect the boot.”

He blamed the election rigging on the ECP and the caretakers, saying “The blame for rigging the elections lies with the caretaker government and the Election Commission. Even the winners of the elections know that there is rigging."

He demanded the audit of only four constituencies and said just three parties have benefited from these elections.

He said: "Is the peaceful protest a clash?  If it is, put an end to democracy.”

He claimed: "Maulana Fazlur Rahman and Khawaja Asif have said that General Bajwa asked to overthrow the government. "Bajwa also told us to be good children and sit quietly. I cannot sit as a slave."

He averred: "The PML-N did not have more than 25 seats but their government was formed. We are being asked to accept slavery. A nation that accepts slavery vanishes.

"No one in our party is against the army.  People do not believe that we have committed any treachery. I will not accept slavery."

The ex-PM said: “After the regime change, the economy sank. In a meeting with the IMF, I said the economy cannot improve without political stability and this is possible only with transparent elections."

He stressed: “There were no negotiations with anyone in the jail. I know why the message wasn't sent but I can't tell right now."
