On sugar shortage, consumers stab, torture three shopkeepers in DG Khan

Masses were going to lose nerves after the high inflation and shortage of sugar in the country as some angered consumers stabbed a shopkeeper and tortured other two grocery storekeepers in Sakhi Sarwar, a town of district Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab on Sunday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, in the town, customers who do not have sugar at the grocery store have angrily stabbed shopkeeper Shahbaz and tortured two other grocery storekeepers Zafar and Jahangir.
Both the grocery storekeepers were severely beaten by the annoying masses on the lack of sugar in the shop while the other shopkeeper Jahangir received serious injuries and was admitted to the hospital.
As per the report, the consumers demanded sugar from the shopkeepers who replied that it was ended and would be available when the government would release it.
The consumers were not agreed with the shopkeepers' replies so attacked and injured them. The attackers later run away from the spot.
The report said that due to a shortage of sugar in the district DG Khan, all of the people were forced to use the ‘Gur’ for tea and other cooking items.
