Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman to visit Pakistan this month

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad Bin Salman will visit Pakistan this month, reported 24NewsHd TV channel Monday citing diplomatic sources.

According to diplomatic sources, Mohammad bin Salman is expected to visit Pakistan in the third week of November and the expected date is likely to be November 21.

The diplomatic sources said Saudi Arabia's special security team will arrive in Pakistan this weekend and will conduct a final review of security arrangements for the Saudi Royal’s visit.

During the visit, Pakistan is expected to receive an additional bailout package of $4.2 billion.

The diplomatic sources said several Pak-Saudi petroleum agreements are being finalized for the visit of the Saudi Prime Minister and Crown Prince and an agreement on the establishment of an oil refinery in the petroleum sector by Saudi Arabia is also expected.

The diplomatic sources said Saudi Arabia to help Pakistan set up a modern oil refinery in Gwadar.

The diplomatic sources said Saudi Arabia will cooperate with China to establish a modern oil refinery at a cost of $10billion in Gwadar and the Chinese companies will initially operate the refinery after the completion of the project.

However, any further deterioration in the current uncertain political situation can create obstacles in the visit of the Saudi Crown Prince.

The diplomatic sources said Saudi Arabia is happy with Pakistan's support for anti-US Saudi strategy in OPEC.
