Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur Sunday unexpectedly reached the provincial assembly after it's claimed that he was arrested in the federal capital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Mystery shrouded the disappearance of CM Gandapur, who according to his party PTI, was abducted by the security agencies from Islamabad. However, the government denied his arrest and claimed that he had escaped from the KP House in Islamabad after disguising himself.

The ongoing session of the KP assembly has already adopted a resolution over the disappearance of the chief minister.

However, later he reached the assembly session and was warmly received by his party MPs.

The resolution, moved by Provincial Law Minister Aftab Alam, urged the speaker to seek reports from all the intelligence and other concerned institutions.

“Interior minister, KP governor should have informed the provincial government [about the matter],” read the resolution.

In light of the resolution, the KP speaker summoned IG, the chief secretary and CM’s principal secretary on Monday.

Describing the events leading to his “disappearance,” Gandapur alleged that Islamabad’s inspector-general (IG) of police, along with Rangers, had “raided the KP House, sealed its gates, and misbehaved with staff and women.”

“They (the police and Rangers) fired on us directly, shelled us, and didn’t have an FIR,” he said.

“They informed me there was an FIR but didn’t explain what it was for or the charges. I asked what crime had I committed, and told them if they wanted to arrest me, they could, as instructed by Imran Khan,” he claimed.

He added that he was “proud of this house and this nation for standing with Imran Khan for fighting for our future.”

“This is a historic event where the government is coming together and attacking our party — they have exposed themselves,” he said. “They took our electoral symbol, then they abducted our people and forced them to defect, but none of them have won.”

"The KP House in Islamabad belongs to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. We were granted permission to hold a rally in a livestock market in Lahore—are we animals? We have not even been allowed peaceful protests."

He further emphasized, "We were attacked with a clear plan against us. Our party is being targeted and our symbol is being taken from us, and our people are being forcibly removed."

Gandapur expressed pride in his assembly, stating, "I take pride in my house," as members warmly welcomed him back to the assembly. He concluded by highlighting the ongoing threats to PTI, declaring, "Those who have been attacking our party are being exposed daily, and everyone is uniting to eliminate PTI."

"The government is petrified of something; why are we not allowed to hold rallies?"

He announced plans to file a case against the Islamabad IGP, demanding, "The Islamabad IGP must apologise on the floor."

Gandapur asserted his presence in Islamabad last night, saying, "Let the federal government know, I was in Islamabad last night. Anyone responsible for vandalism at the KP House must apologise."

“I left the KP House alone, crossing 12 districts to reach here,” he said.

CM Gandapur expressed readiness for negotiations, declaring, “I am prepared to negotiate for Pakistan.”

He said, “Experience governor’s rule if you wish, but I am not afraid of threats. You started the war, but we will end it."
