The funeral prayers for Interior Secretary Abdullah Khan Sumbal, who died yesterday at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Lahore after suffering from food poisoning for a few days, will be offered today at 5pm at Habib Masjid on Tufail Road, Cantt, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
The officers of the Punjab bureaucracy reached the residence of Abdullah Sambal to offer condolences.
Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Usman Anwar, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana, Sameer Ahmed Syed and Rafia Haider reached the residence of Abdullah Khan Sumbal to offer condolences to his family.
Lahore Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Aamir Karim, Cap (retd) Asadullah, Dr Ahmed Javed Qazi, Mujahid Sherdil, Zulfiqar Ahmed Ghuman and others also reached the residence of the late officer and expressed condolences to the family.
