OpenAI's ChatGPT experienced a global outage Thursday, affecting users worldwide as the popular Artificial Intelligence platform ChatGPT was not working today.
Reports of service disruptions began around 11:00 AM GMT, with users encountering error messages and difficulties accessing the platform.
OpenAI promptly addressed the issue, and by 11:55 AM PST, ChatGPT services were mostly recovered, with some free plan customers continuing to experience issues until 1:20 PM PST.
This incident marks the second time in two months that ChatGPT has faced a global outage, raising concerns among its extensive user base.
Users are encouraged to check OpenAI's official status page for real-time updates on service availability.
DownDetector, the global monitoring platform for popular websites, also reported that a large number of users reported issues while using the ChatGPT.
