Flour price is likely to go down by up to Rs20 per kilogram in the current month as three Russian ships carrying wheat will dock at Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to wheat importers, the first ship carrying 60,000 tons of wheat MV Bex Hillel will reach Karachi on September 15.

The importers informed that second ship will reach Karachi on September 23 or 25.

They expected that the prices of flour and wheat are likely to decrease across the country as the demand will be met after arrival of the ships.

The Russian wheat will cost about Rs100 per kg after arrival at Karachi, they further revealed.

They said that after the import, Russian wheat will be available in abundance across the country for the whole year.

Presently wheat is available at Rs125 per kg and flour at Rs160 per kg in open market.
