PTI to hold public meeting on September 8 ‘at all costs’

The PTI will hold its public gathering on September 8 at all costs, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
In the meeting chaired by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, it was decided that the meeting of September 8 will neither be cancelled nor postponed on the ‘instructions of anyone’.
Sources said the Plans A, B and C were prepared with consultation. They added the previous day's meeting decided that the heavy machinery would be delivered to Swabi a day before the meeting.
Ambulances, bulldozers, cranes and other machinery will be delivered to Swabi on September 7, while each MNA and MPA has been given the task of gathering from 1,500 to 2,000 workers, the insiders said.
They added that the responsibility of providing transport and food to the workers will be the responsibility of the MNA and MPA concerned.
It was said in the meeting that there is a possibility of cancelling the NOC this time as well, the sources said, adding that the workers and leaders should be instructed to cross all the obstacles and reach the meeting place.

According to the sources, it was instructed in the meeting that they would come together first. If the situation worsens, everyone will reach the meeting place individually, the insiders said.
A meeting of the Peshawar Division and Hazara Division was held the previous day under the chairmanship of the KP CM regarding the September 8 rally.
