Josh Inglis struck a quickfire century as Australia hammered Scotland by 70 runs in Edinburgh on Friday to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in a three-match Twenty20 series.
Travis Head, fresh from his hundred in Wednesday's opener, was out for a duck to the delight of Scotland fans at the Grange.
But his exit brought Inglis to the crease, with the number three smashing seven fours and as many sixes in an innings of 103 that took just 49 balls.
Opening batsman Head was bowled first ball by Brad Currie, the paceman leading Scotland's attack with 3-37.
There was no stopping Inglis as the 29-year-old powered his way to a century before he was caught in the covers of Chris Sole.
Scotland's reply to Australia's 196-4 never got going.
Brandon McMullen played a lone hand of 59 as Australia all-rounder Marcus Stoinis took 4-23, with Scotland dismissed for 126.
Scotland opener George Munsey made 19 off just nine balls but the home side kept losing wickets as Australia cruised to victory.
