The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Friday denied reports about plea bargain by senior army officers allegedly involved in corruption cases.

The NAB said that plea bargain reports about Lieutenant General Naveed Zaman and Lieutenant General Sajjad Ghani were part of a malicious campaign. The NAB said it was not prosecuting any case against the aforementioned army officers right now or earlier. The NAB said that baseless reports about financial corruption by the two officers were shared on the social media.
