Former PTI lawmakers summoned by ACE Punjab for occupying govt land illegally

The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE), Punjab on Monday summoned a former member assembly and two members of the provincial assembly from Lahore on charges of illegal occupation of government land, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to a spokesperson of ACE Punjab, the provincial watchdog is conducting an inquiry against the former MNA Malik Karamat Khokhar, MPA Malik Sarfraz Khokhar, and MPA Malik Nadeem Bara on the charge of illegal occupation of government land.
They have received summonses from ACE Punjab's Circle Officer Lahore to appear on August 9 at 9 am.
As per the spokesperson, Malik Karamat Khokhar and Malik Nadeem Bara bought private land and fraudulently grabbed valuable government land located next to their purchased land.
Former PTI MPA Malik Sarfraz Khokhar is accused of making illegal construction on the said government land.
The ACE Punjab has directed all concerned departments to provide records.
The establishment’s interpreter said the watchdog has launched a campaign to address the rampant issue of illegal occupation of valuable government lands across the province.
