Sick PU student dies in Lahore’s Mayo Hospital

A Punjab University (PU) student died Thursday in Mayo Hospital due to illness, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The deceased, identified as Zohaib, was a student of BS (Honours) at the PU’s College of Pharmacy.
He resided in Khalid Bin Waleed Hostel in the Old Campus of the university.
According to the hostel sources, Zohaib was suffering from a fever, and he was taken to Mayo Hospital, Lahore at 8am for treatment. In the meantime, his parents were also informed about his health.
PU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Asghar Zaidi expressed his grief over the death of the student.
“Late Zohaib was a brilliant student of pharmacy. May Allah elevate the ranks of the departed soul in the Jannah,” Dr Asghar Zaidi prayed.
