LHC orders sealing of cafes violating time limitations

The Lahore High Court has ordered to impose fine and seal cafes in Lahore’s Johar Town for violating the time bar imposed in an attempt to tackle smog, reported 24 NewsHD TV channel.
The court on Friday also sought a reply from Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on December 12 regarding final date for completion of city underpasses.
The court also sought a report on green projects from the Central Business District (CBD). The court issued stay orders against the launch of the new CBD project on Walton Road.
The court directed the government to inform the commission about the fines imposed on industries causing pollution.
Justice Shahid Karim heard the case related to smog.
