Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari taking a jibe at PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif said that it is truly unfortunate that he did not agree to a debate with him ahead of the general elections.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Bhutto lamented: ‘’ I invite the PM candidate of the PML-N, Nawaz Sharif, to engage in a debate with me anytime, anywhere before February 8’’, but he refused.
One myth I hoped to address is the fiction that due to PMLN, Punjab performs better than other provinces. As Hafiz Pasha ‘s book; ‘Human Security in Pakistan’ demonstrates. Sindh now preforms better than Punjab in many areas. Such as governance, freedom from want, freedom from fear, gross regional income and human security over all.
PMLN knows this and this is why they ran away from a debate,” he added.

"He is afraid of people", Bilawal Bhutto said.
He said contrary to popular belief, a notable shift has occurred, with Sindh now surpassing Punjab in various key areas, as highlighted in Hafiz Pasha's book, 'Human Security in Pakistan.'
Pasha's research underscores that Sindh has made significant strides in governance, freedom from want, freedom from fear, gross regional income, and overall human security, outpacing Punjab in these crucial aspects.
This contradicts the long-held notion that Punjab consistently outperforms other provinces, particularly under the leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
