Met Office forecasts cold, dry weather on election day

Contrary to the general perception that there might be rain and snow in different parts of the country on February 8, the election day, the Met Office, on the other hand, said on Wednesday that the weather would remain dry and cold across the country on the big day, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The weather department said that mainly cold and dry weather was expected in most parts of the country, while very cold in the upper parts, during the next 24 hours.

It also predicted shallow fog for isolated places in northeast Punjab during morning hours.
