CDA, Arts Council pact for holding Urdu conference

The Capital Development Authority has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Arts Council to hold the 15th Urdu Conference.
According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the deal is sealed for the event aimed at promoting arts and culture in the capital .
Rana Shakeel Asghar represented the CDA while the civic body chief was also present.
The conference will be held from March 10 to March 13 at the Pak-China Friendship Centre in Islamabad.
The CDA chairman shed light on the importance of holding such events so that the national language could be promoted.
He said the civic body wants to make the federal capital a hub of art and culture promotion. Under this MoU, CDA will host the 15th world Urdu conference and eminent scholars and delegates will show up.
